5G cognitive radio system design with new algorithm asynchronous spectrum sensing

Due to the rapid increase in wireless applications and number of users, spectrum scarcity, energy consumption latency issues will emerge, notably fifth generation (5G) system. Cognitive radio (CR) has emerged as primary technology address these challenges, allowing opportunist access well ability analyze, observe, learn how respond environmental 5G conditions. The CR sense detect empty bands order use underutilized frequency without causing unwanted interference with legacy networks. In this paper, we presented a sensing algorithm based on detection that allows secondary user SU transmit asynchronously PU harmful interference. This reduced time required scan whole band by dividing it into n sub-bands are all scanned at same time.
